The Small Voice Inside

I have discovered how important it is to be still and listen to that quiet voice inside us. That voice will never steer us wrong. The outside of a person or group can have all the appearance of being good, or right but it can be so wrong.

Many deceptive people have learned to talk the right things. Think of Jim Jones the cult leader who led so many to die by their own hand. When he started out, he spoke of doing God's work, embracing all people regardless of color...... And yet, he had no idea what truth was. He built an empire to himself, participated in horrible acts of abuse of some of his followers, especially children and became nothing more then a mad man leading people who hungered for truth.

Delighted to meet you. Just found your site via a friend. You got me thinking today, the still small voice. May God guide me through that voice and any others that I need to hear.

Blessings from Costa Rica,
Sarah Dawn

Amen Sarah, we must be careful of the false teachers and prophets which are increasing daily. We must stay in God's word and pray. We must know God's word so as not to be deceived by them.

Great post my friend.

Blessings!

Sarah, you are so right. Many begin doing God's work yet, they begin to feel they are the one's who are doing what God can only do. They begin to take credit for themselves instead of giving God the glory. This only leads to destruction. So many people are deceived because they do not know the word of God. This is why we have to meditate and read His word daily which is what He tells us to do do that we will not be deceived. Yes sweetheart, keep listening to that "small voice of God" inside of you.

I thank you for your prayers. I thank you for being such a good friend although you do not even know me. Yet, you have lifted my spirits more than you can possibly know. I am so glad God brought you into my life. You are a beautiful jewel in His crown. You are beautiful in every way.

God bless

I love you so much. I wish I could give you a great big hug! (Just imagine me doing this my friend)

This small voice gets lost in the millions of other voices that crave for attention. We have to listen or else a day will come when that small voice no longer is audible to us. God forbid that such a day to occur. Our God is merciful and just not to let that happen. We are given a zillion chances to come back.
